This symptom sounds like the index that Pogoplug creates on your Pogoplug has become corrupted. Don't worry though, your data is safe and sound on your drive. I believe the solution may be to delete this index. Support can help you out.

Login to my.pogoplug.com, click the 'Help Center' tab and 'Submit a support ticket'. Submitting a ticket in this way captures valuable system information, especially if you've installed version 3 of Pogoplug software. If not, please let Support know which desktop OS you are using.
