When I open the "Movies" folder on my WD Hard Drive via Pogoplug Desktop Software (Windows 7) The loading progress bar hangs on the last one percent and just stays there.

I see the thumbnails for the movies but am unable to play them.

Any thoughts or advice?

Many thanks!

Please describe in detail what steps you are taking to cause this:

Which loading-progress-bar are we speaking of?
Unable to play them using webUI/browser/operatingsystem, xbox360? PS3?

The loading progress bar is that of the folder itself.
I go to "Computer" "P:Pogoplug" I see all my files.
Click the "Movies" folder. At which point I see all the thumbnails for the movies and there's a progress bar at the top for everything to fully load. Where the navigation bar is.
It hangs at the very last moment before completely loading and therefore I'm unable to open and play any of the movies.

I'm using the latest Desktop Software (version 3.0.2) in Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

When using the webUI I can't get movies to play at all so I just try via the Desktop Software.

I'm using Pogoplug Pro. All documents work fine, but for larger multimedia files it's been incredibly frustrating.

I see.

Indeed, larger video files can cause that to happen since Windows likes to create thumbnails for all the movies(if your in thumbnail view).

Try this:
- Change your view to detailed-view; eliminating Windows' auto thumbnail-gen
- Rightclick in an empty area in that WindowsExplorer window, click properties
, click Advanced, Disable the "Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties"

Hopefully this will help somewhat. If this Movies folder is remote; like you're at work and the Pogoplug is at home, network delay might be unavoidable.
