@Jeff92677,
Thank you for your input.
I'll pass this onto the Product team.
Kind Regards,
Christopher
It would be VERY helpful to know where some shared folder resides.
I have multiple Pogoplug devices, and a few drives.
Somone must know where to find the folder, which device, and which drive it's on, and showing that information would allow me to find duplicates, for example.
Knowing where the folder is would also make it easy to spot folders that no longer exist, yet are shown as shared. Listing a folder as shared is confusing, but it's not always clear which folders will produce this message when opened:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This folder is shared from a Pogoplug enabled device that is not available.
Check back soon.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also in Files Shared with me through the computer driver, I'd like to know WHO is sharing some directory from my P: drive listing in Windows (or Pogoplug device listing on my Mac).
I see shared folders called "unknown" that might be from different people. I'd like to know who's "unknown" directory I am accessing, but can't determine it without going to a browser. Also, I ofen see shared directories that no longer exist.
If the person sharing a directory knew the directory no longer existed (see above) this would help remove the clutter in the Files shared with Me list.
SO there are two solutions in this suggestion.
