Hi,

Can someone please help me. I just bought the Pogoplug device - streaming video version. They said just plug it in and it works. NOT!

I plugged it in the office, I had a solid green light and a blinking amber light BOTH at home and in the office - help what do I need to do, the device is still not activated.

Thanks

PS. I emailed support and their emails take about 12 hours to come back and they ask you the same stupid questions you just wrote in the email. Why they cannot read an email, beats me.

HELP - new user here.

Are you considering the ethernet-activity LEDs, on the back of the Pogoplug, to be the blinking-amber & solid-green lights? The light support would be asking about is the Pogoplug logo on the front of the device. If that light is solid-green(after about 1min), you're usually all set.

Please describe your setup and chances are we'll be able to bring you to resolution in short-order.

Thanks,

I don't know which side is front or back. The ethernet, and I'm assuming there is just one connection is the side that has 4 USB connections above it. That green light is solid, with a blinking amber light.

I'm not sure if it recognizes the pogoplug. The hard drive or flash drive is definitely not being recognized.
Help!

I have the same issue. On the back of the pogoplug (at the ethernet connection), I have a solid green light and a blinking amber light. I am now getting a message that "Bad drive letter".

Hello all,

We all need to stop looking at the ethernet-port lights. Yes, there is one that is solid green and one that is blinking amber. Those small, square lights are suppose to do that.

The real indicator is the ***front*** of the Pogoplug. The Pogoplug logo, blinks green on start up... then after about 2mins, will be only one of the following:

- Solid green = Should be working okay
- Solid amber = Problem. Something about the network is preventing communication. It could also mean there is a problem with 1 or more of the drives connected to it.

I have a solid green light and a blinking amber light by the ethernet port but in front I have an ominous red light moving from side to side. From the unit emanates a deep mechanical sounding voice that seems to say "By your command". Really scary!
