Hi Bert,
When you add email addresses to the General Settings tab, these are not really separate users. Instead, they are simply email addresses, any one of which you can use to log into your account. Once you are in, you are a single user and operation is the same as if you logged in under any of the other email addresses associated with the account under General Settings. You will have full access to all files on all drives on your device, as well as control over all Settings.
If you add an email from the Users tab, you are adding Sub-Users, and these are not administrative users. These users only have access to the files and folders you add when you set them up, and they do not have control over the settings for this sub-device.

Hi,
I encountered a difference in rights granted via the "general settings" tab
and the "user settings" tab

I thought granting right via the user settings tab was equal to the general settings tab.
The problem is that I can access a database on a PP drive via the general way and I'm not able to do that in the other way.
Is this a know issue, and is there a workaround?
thank you
Bert
The new interface is just not usable..........get it sorted pogoplug, put it back as it was
@JohnB_UK,
This particular workflow is the same as it was previously. Is there something specific about the new interface that is not working well for you?

@JohnB_UK,
Just saw your other posts in alternate threads. As Jed stated, we are working on figuring out a Web UI update and will post when we have more information.
Thanks for all the feedback! We are listening.
