DITTO. Exact same thing here. I just got everything stable last night. a Pogoplug 4 with 5 drives running off a powered Belkin USB Hub. GREAT!!! A pogoplug pto with 4 drives on a Roswill powered hub with one drive directly attached to it via usb.
I get up this morning to find all of by backups have failed because the Pogoplug Pro dropped all of my drives. I reregister the Pogoplug Pro and it recognizes 2 drives. I've been running this thing for MONTHS with one drive attached directly to it with NO problems. Attach a couple of other drives and it's like I'm running a Beta version of the product!!! The series 4 works great but I don't want all of my drive on it.
When does Pogoplug support get involved as their support is HORRIBLE. How about someting other than a generic email?
I've had better luck and stability sharing my drives on a Windows XP machine and foregoing the access from the internet.
Any ideas? A it's getting close to time to put these on eBay and go back to a simple existance. Pogoplug has just complicated matters with a product that gets rave reviews/
Sorry, I'm a grad student who needs access to his data from school and can't spend all of his time troubleshooting Pogoplug problems!!!

Hi all,
i have recently bought a Seagate STAK200 Free Agent GoFlex Net SATA/GIGE NAS DOCK
http://www.i-tech.com.au/products/71087_Seagate_STAK200_FREE_AGENT_GOFLEX.aspx
I do not have the two seagate ext HDD plugged in to the top i only have my WD 2TB plugged in via the USB port at the back.
And i have got everything working fine except that sometimes the light on the front of the dock turns amber and then Pogoplug will not recognise that there is a HDD plugged in.
Is there a reason why this happens? How can i stop the light turning orange?
Thankyou
If you truly wish to go the route of trashing/ebay, you could always convert it to a pure linux machine...
