My PogoPlug is a mess.

First, it made an empty duplicate file of each song in my library (for example, I had two "Dream On's" right next to each other, one was 4.25mb the other was 0kb. This happened to every song).

In the midst of this new updates abounded in the PogoPlug world and I thought I would just wipe it all and start over. No such luck.

1) I have deleted all my files off of my PogoPlug Hard Drive, they still show up in my Media in my.pogoplug.com. I select them all, right click and select "Delete Selected Files"...Nothing. I have thousands of empty files in my PogoPlug Media that I can't get rid of.

2) Ok, so I will just reset the PogoPlug Settings! No such luck. I clicked on the "Reset PogoPlug Settings" and it says it can't reset because I don't have the latest firmware. Ok...go download the latest firmware...again, no such luck. Everywhere I read says firmware updates happen automatically.

So my PogoPlug is essentially useless now. Please help me reset it so I can start over!!

Connect your USBdrive to your PC and search for the hidden folder called ".cedata"
Delete this folder. Safely eject the USBdrive from your computer. Reconnect it to Pogoplug.

The only limit to the Pogoplug is your imagination... and C skills... and linux skills. ^_^ h\t\tp://download.pogoplug.com/opensource/pogoplug-gcc.tar.bz2
