Hi I'm having issues with my pogoplug video 3.00 firmware. My hard drives are both constantly dissappearing. I have to constantly remove them from my pogoplug video, connect them to my PC and do a error check. already happened 3 days in a row since latest frimware update. anyone else having this same issue. I'm using a Seagate goflex and a WD hard drive NTFS. any help would be appreciated.

I would report this issue to official support right away, they take issues like this very seriously. There is no current "global" issue I know of that would be causing this, so it might somehow be related to your individual drive or setup.

Did you notice this before the 3.00 upgrade? This used to happen to me all the time on my regular Pogoplug (10 months ago) until I saw on one of these forums that a UPS might help. I bought a relatively cheap UPS for my Pogoplug, hard drives, and router. Since getting the UPS, I haven't had any problems with hard drives disappearing...

no hardrive problems before update. also my share's too my family and friends are not working on their android devices using the pogoplug app. say's connection error when trying to stream videos i have shared with them. gonna try to re-share folders. maybe unplugging the drive's to connect them to my pc for error check removed the shares. Although the folders and files within the folder all show on my friends evo yet they won't stream. I'll post back if and when i get it working. would also like to know if anyone else has been having this same problem when trying to stream video you sent your friend using pogoplug video 3.00 firmware and the pogoplug app. Connection error.

I upgraded to 3 and now my seagate go flex drive won't show on one of my laptops, but will on another. No idea why. Everything is configured the same.

I'm using goodsync to synchronize a local usb drive with my pogoplug video - that uses version 3 of the firmware. Within about 10 seconds after starting the sync, goodsync reports that the p drive is no longer available. I thought it might be a goodsync issue, so I tried my other sync software, SmartSync Pro, and experienced the same issue. In order for either sync software to see the P drive, I need to go into windows explorer and navigate to the folder involved and then the syncs work for about 10 seconds before reporting the error again. I've reported this to CE but they need a day or two to review the issue with their engineers. This is a very frustrating problem because the PP Video seems to be an outstanding upgrade.
