I have bought and installed the premium version 3.0.1.24. Its running on a mac mini on a fiber network with 20M up and down. Files are being accessed fine. BUT. the music is not streamable. Both from Ipad and iPhone 3gs the software hangs and need to me rebooted. Photos are not visible on iPad. Music streams ok from my inhouse pogoplug. I have now used one whole day with trouble. The premium version is vasted money. By the way, there is no instruction how to uninstall. The desktop software claims there is a new version. This is till a BETA!

My music isn't streaming through my Android phone or the web UI - using pink pogoplug.

I have observed now that the iPhone app run on iPad behaves just like the iPad app: music will not stream remotely, only locally!! i bought the premium to stream music remotely. Anyone fom Pogoplug on this forum.?

I have a pink pogoplug now but am considering the premium software just because of the video transcoding problems (takes forever). If it won't stream my music, that would be a showstopper. At least the pink one will stream my music to my droid.

One more question: What ports would I have to forward to the pogoplug box (premium software on a windows pc) in order to access it from behind my firewall? For example, I have port 80 forwarded to my linux box for my web server.

I'm kind of frustrated that this pogoplug software (essentially the server side) isn't available on Linux. I have a linux server on all the time that I could set this up on. I really don't want to have another Windows PC on all the time -- and accessible to the internet. (I see vmware in my future...)
