I don't know if there is an "official" doc, but we have lots of Linux users on the forum who can help you out. We do have an Ubuntu installation guide that has worked for many people here.
I downloaded the software for Linux but is there a document or something on how to use it? I see there is information regarding Windows and Mac so I am wondering if the Linux users were left out in the cold? I am hoping not.
Where can I find the Ubuntu installation guide?
I think I found the guide you were referencing with Ubuntu but that is for the hardware device is it not? I am wondering about the software that is currently available for Windows and Mac that allows your Desktop to basically become a Pogoplug device. Any roadmap for that on Linux?
So, is there an answer to this? I tried looking through the forums and couldn't get the desktop app to work on Ubuntu 10.10.
I agree, there needs to be better support here for the linux users! I, too, downloaded the tar.gz file, extracted the pogoplugfs file, but have no idea what to do with it! Please offer support for the products you provide!
I ve got the software versions up and running following the postings with the instructions here. At least, I got read-access to the files which are hosted on a Pc, but no possibilty to create or share data off the Ubuntu-platform...
