1. Right click the drive that you want to give your parents access to and click "Share"
2. Enter your parents email address(es).
3. Check the box that says, "Require sign in to view this share"

I mean, you have done this on a Windows computer? or do I have to login on my.pogoplug.com?

I've a MAC pc...

but how do your parents access the disk?
Only via the web interface?
No way to access it like a real local network disk (windows, without turning the ugly "file sharing" option on)...

Incorrect, your parents can download the pogo software and install it. Then they will see the files you shared with the under P: drive inside the "Files shared with me" folder.
