Try the using www.homepipe.net you'll need to setup a homepipe account, install the utility on your computer then share the drive and directory you want to use on your pogoplug with your homepipe account. Homepipe lets you use WebDav to access your directories and drives, including NAS drives and PogoPlug drives. You will need to leave your home computer on in order for it to all work togather... but it's a work around that might work for you! Also, homepipe has an app in the iTunes app store...
Enjoy :-)

If Pogoplug would support WebDav as a file system I could use any client (I use this: http://www.webdrive.com/products/webdrive/index.html) MacFuse doesn't prove to be stable
