I would like to see, in the preferences drive pane an option that allows me to avoid mounting the "files shared with me" disk. I have no files shared with me at the moment so this icon sits on the desktop with no use. Of course I can unmount it manually, but hate to have to do that at each restart.

Any chance this can be considered?
