Go to the web interface for the PogoPlug.
Under "General Settings" the first section is for 'email addresses' and 'Screen Name'.
Just add your A-email to it. (If need be, go through the verification steps.)
Then log in with it (confirming that it is valid etc.) and remove the B-email.
You should now have swapped the email ownership of this screen name -- which is the actual controlling account for the PogoPlug.

Hi,
I am using one of my email addresses B for my own Pogoplug account, but that's not the e-address I really want to use for. My main e-address A was once used for a friend of mine's Pogoplug to let me share some of his files on his Pogoplug. Now my friend says he has removed my address A from his settings. But I still can even add A to the settings of my own Pogoplug, not to mention I haven't been able to replace B with A.
I want to set A as my email address for my own Pogoplug. How do I or can I do that?
Can anyone help me out?
Alex,
Thank you for the reply. I tried that but found I could log in with my A-address only when I use the password that I had set for my friend's Pogo. I have set another password for my own Pogo, but that password won't work. Most likely, my friend has not been successful in removing my A address from his settings. I wonder how he can do that for me for sure.
I tried to add my address C to find it was added immediately to the list, which doesn't happen in the case of my address A. My friend says he has no idea what else he can/should do for me. Maybe the Pogo's cloud servers can't let go of my address A. Hmm.
It might have to do with the Screen Name association. I have a setup with my brother where each of us has a PogoPlug. I got mine before his and set up an account. After he set his up, we wanted both to be under the same account He added my email to his account. My account acted strange until I junked the old screen name. This was over a year ago so i don't remember the details.
Alex,
I did it! I don't really know exactly what worked, though.
I tried several times to add my e-address A for my own Pogo using a different password than the one I had used for my friend's Pogo. My address A was not added to the list. Meanwhile, my friend deleted the registration of his Pogo device itself out of the Internet.
Then I tried using the PW of my address A for my friend's Pogo in the hope that the address would be added to my list and it was! I signed out once, and reentered my Pogo with my address A using its password for my own Pogo. And here I am.
I'm not sure, but maybe I should have used the same PW both for my friend's Pogo and for my own Pogo when I tried to log in with my e-address A. Anyway, I'm done with this problem. Thanks for all the help you gave me.
Yes, that is one thing -- my brother and I share the same password for both email addresses on the same screen name with the two PogoPlugs. But we matched them before trying to merge the accounts.
I am glad that you are set up the way you like. I hope your friend was not harmed in this :-)
