I have a pogoplug pro that I just picked up a few weeks ago.  I mainly wanted it to have my own cloud storage to share with friends.

When I first plugged in my 500gb WD external hard drive, I noticed that when I click on "pictures" from my library that it indexes the files by date.  Upon looking through the folders I realized that there were some old pictures on my drive that I didn't want on there any more.  I definitely do not want to share them with friends.  Not that it's important, but the photos are of an old girlfriend that I forgot that I had.

Of course, just my luck, the pogoplug is using a photo of my ex as a thumbnail for a folder.  Since then I have deleted the photos from my C drive, my external, and from the "My Pogoplug" website...and IT STILL SHOWS THAT PICTURE AS A THUMBNAIL!!!

Am I missing something?  I really want that photo gone...definitely don't want it as a thumbnail for the folder.

Can anyone help???

Thanks in advance.

There is a hidden .cedata folder on the drive (cannot be seen from PogoPlug, must unmount and look at the drive on a computer) that caches all of the thumbnails and optimized files -- like video. I bet that if you were to delete that folder and then re-attached it to the PogoPlug your problem would be solved.

However! All the caching is gone and the drive would have to be re-indexed.
