Seem like a bit of a misnomer to me. The concept has its upsides; I'm sure mass appeal being one of the driving ones. My concern would be that the functionallity on the new "SoftwarePlug" will outstrip the processing capabilities of the true plug computers leaving them lonely and forgotten by our CloudEngine friends. I would love to see features added to windows/mac clients that would leverage the plug-NAS concept while offloading some of the heavy processing (e.g. transcoding) to the bigger machines. Anyone else have thoughts on how this could enhance (and not replace) the plug devices?
