Maybe I am missing something, where where/how can you now create a slideshow, save it and then share it?

Go to the "media tab" then in the left-hand navigation choose "custom slideshows".
Here you can create new slideshows.
First add pictures or movies, then music. After clicking finish you will be able to share the slideshow you just created.

I found playing back slideshows with music works best in the Chrome browser.

I would like, however, to see my actual folders rather than just the "pictures" folder that Pogoplug creates. (Many reasons for this request.)

I would like to simply select one of MY folders - especially with so many years of pictures that I do not know where to look unless I know specific dates. Sometimes they can be in a range of years ... though I have them together in a known folder on my drive.

Please?

TRK, in what Pogoplug interface are you seeing "media"? In my.pogoplug.comv/view# under Photos, I see Timeline and All Photos. Using the pogoplug browser (very confusing choice of names), I see Gallery, Jukebox, Cinema, and Files. Nowhere do I see Media Tab, Custom slideshows.

As for versions, the my.pogoplug.com/view is what is offered via web browser as of Nov 17, 2011. The PC version of Pogoplug browser is v.1.0.0.0.

The other issue is the pogoplug interface is very slow over the home network (Gigabit switch). I can delete picture files only one at a time (can't select and delete multiple files) and each delete takes about 10 seconds. Maybe pogoplug is more intuitive and I'm trying to over think things?

I have 400+ photos from a trip, I want to create a slide show of the highlights, maybe 25-30 pictures out of the 400+. I can do this easily in Picasa but really want to give Pogoplug a try.
