Anyone else notice the characters that do not seem to be "legal," in a fileName, when sending an eMail attachment to upload@mypogoplug.com?
I have found '(' is translated to %28 and ')' is translated to %29. I am guessing that there are other charcters that are changed.
This "unix/linux" incompatibility with windows is an issue when attempting to do an update using something like xcopy (xcopy S T /a /d /e /f /k /y) when used with the desktop application. xcopy, and even cp in unix/linux, does does not understand that %28 is an open parenthesis '(' and the file is duplicated with the correct POV name. Now there are two files.
Sample attachment file name: Ch(a)r_a-cter.txt becomes Ch%28a%29r_a-cter.txt. It is symbolically correct; however, it is just NOT right!
I wonder if the folks at Cloud Engines could publish a list of the incompatible characters so that it is not necessary for each of us to find them by trial and mistake. This information could be put in the User Guide so it is available to everyone!
