"My internet upload speed is ... " now incorporated into Media Settings.  My first impression is mostly cosmetic.  I have not noticed it doing anything for me.  What is it supposed to do?

By default it is "Normal (dsl)."  I set it to "Fastest (cable modem, T1)."  Moving away from Media Settings and then returning, the setting seems to automatically revert to "Normal (dsl)."
