This might sound like a very, very basic question--but did you install the Drive Software? Is it only after the software is installed that you're getting this error? Maybe with more details somebody who may have experienced this before could help.

If you've taken all the obvious troubleshooting steps (re-installing the software, rebooting the Pogoplug, etc.) then you could also contact Pogoplug support.
