you could use " serviio.org" which is a dlna software program (free) to stream any media to your TV, thru an extention device of course.( wdtv, xbox , ps3, seagate goflex tv , etc.) It works quite well and is easy to set up !!

Hi,
I've seagate dockstar and works great except it does not support full upnp/dlna.
* PC cant see it has media server. It shows server but can't pull in files. Buidling it as local drive as option but ugly one.
* Other devices, like Sony TV, can't pull in files, it shows as media server but can't pull in files.
What it would take for pogoplug team to fully support upnp/dlna?
Any threads on how to install serviio? Searches didn't come up with anything!!
Thanks for the reply, can you elaborate please?
Will I need to install linux on pogoplug, before installing Serviio?
Because all the installation isntructions from here: http://www.serviio.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5 are for Windows/Linux/OSX..
If you could post how you were able to do it, that will be of great help!! Thanks
"378 MB of memory or more (2GB recommended)"
This is not in line with the RAM available to any of the pogoplug models, as the most is 256.
You could install Serviio on a PC and then have it monitor the Pogoplug drives that are shared to your PC from your PopoPlug.
Kinda redundant and makes it so you have to keep the PC turned on to do so.
