Hi guys, just received my new Pogoplug Pro.  The first thing I tried to do was to get my network printing working.  So pogoplug and my printer is connected to my Linksys router via ethernet cable and my printer is connected to pogoplug via USB.

With that configuration I am able to printer only through via upload doc file then print from pogoplug web.  I'm wondering if there's any way I can just print directly from my computer without having to login.  I tried to do that via network printing but nothing prints out.  So remote printing after login works beautifully but can't not for the life of me get local printing working at all.  Any help would be appreciated it.

P.S.  I tried that microsoft link, share printer then add as network but that didn't work for local either.

From what I understand, the way that the Pogoplug provides the printer services is not in such a way that you can directly configure it on a laptop. (e.g. it doesnt present as a shared printer, or a TCP/IP printer)

Correct me anyone if I am wrong but ATM I think Y2J is stuck this as it is.

that's why I was thinking not as a shared local printer but as a network printer to bypass that. Hmmm, tough...
