Hello,

Here I used Acronis True Image 10 and had no desire to see my records attached to Pogoplug as conventional hard drives and my backups were done properly. I just upgrade to 2011 and got a surprise when I want to select a disc they do not appear in the browser Acronis if I click on network I see the disks but can not be accessed every time I am request a username and password and I tried everything it does not work. I look there is also an FTP function but then I wonder because it abuts the port address, code and PW and I do not know what I should mention.
I returned the address of Pogoplug (192.168.0.x) but no port is not suitable for PW.

Anyone have a idea? perhaps I should indicate to access them?

I contacted Acronis support for the report but not another and so my backups are inaccessible (unless transferred to an external USB HDD on PC)

Thank you in advance

I'm trying to follow this, so please forgive anything that I didn't take out of the OP. It's hard to follow.

You were using the Win/Mac drive app to connect to your pogoplug, and using Acronis True Image 10, you had it save/retrieve from the drive as it was made available by the Win/Mac drive app. You upgraded to Acronis True image 2011, and now it does not see the drive as presented by Win/Mac drive app. Correct? So the issue is that the newer version of Acronis does not see the drive made present by the Win/Mac drive app.

There is no native FTP on the pogoplug, except for maybe the Biz.

Thank you very much for the quick response, in effect from the 2010 version has the 2011 I lost the display of disks attached to Pogoplug as I see in Windows Explorer with each letter.
Though I feared not being able to use FTP on Pogoplug.
In Acronis I see the disks when I click on the network but then can not be accessed.
It bothers me a lot because I took 3 licenses2011, I should stay under the 2010 version finally. In addition to hand back to 2010 I no longer have access to my backups in ACRONIS thereby.
I made back in ACRONIS information through the hotline, but for now no answer.

Hello errant,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Acronis products.
My name is Anton and I am writing you on behalf of Acronis Customer Central.

I would recommend the following two Knowledge Base articles that show how to backup to a NAS device: http://kb.acronis.com/content/2869 and http://kb.acronis.com/content/13504

In case they do not help, I would really appreciate if you can get back to me with the case number so that I can assist you.

Standard support program response time is 3 days, you can check for more details in this Acronis Forum post: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/18623

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your quick response, I'm at an impasse over the
total with this 2011 version and could not find any solution to this problem.

I took step by step what is shown on this http://kb.acronis.com/content/2869 mas does not respond to the extent that when I put the username and password to access I Pogoplug of a connection failure, if I put the username and CDM windows I logged in then there is nothing that appears and then a login failure.
I have read and searched all information relating to the network on the site
Acronis but have not solved the problem that

To know that my other Synology NAS presents no problem, Hard
appear to be well networked and connected without problem I myself as well as
Mapped drives under Windows.

Perhaps the concern is also related to the product through its Pogoplug
specificities network. But I do not understand how it could work
perfectly under the 2010 version and the version in 2011.

I received an email from Acronis support as requested and I replied with the required files:
diagnostic information
Wireshark log

And I added some screenshots in visualizing ATI 2010 it is no concern for the recognition of discs although I noticed that the network did not appear Pogoplug but only in the workplace Windows IJY letters
Under 2011 we see that I have access to the Synology Disk without verification
identity and no worries, mapped drives Y and T are accessible without
problem aussi.l other catch 2011 can see the problem and the inability to connect to the disks Pogoplug.

I hope that a solution will be found.

Thank you for your help

Hello,

I think I'll quit my Pogoplug ACRONIS problem remains unresolved, except go back and take the 2010 version that it works very well with the Pogoplug. But I still bought 3 licenses 2011 and unusable, do not want to repay 3 licenses 2010 and again I think this version is no longer available.
I still have the problem with playing music files on my PS3 (bed for about 2mn40 then stops, some files will not play at all either) and other media often causes a crash Pogoplug the multimedia, must restart the system to find the Pogoplug.

I'll eventually reinvest in a SYNOLOGY NAS, mine has passed away long ago, shame because I liked the concept of shame but I Pogoplug

My experience also is that Acronis True Image 2011 is not able to display USB drives connected to a Pogoplug. Acronis True Image 2010 is able to display USB drives connected to a Pogoplug and works very well, and backup scenarios created with ATIH2010 run with ATI2011 so there appears to be an oversight in the ATIH2011 GUI. As ATI2011 is no longer being developed (replaced by ATI2012 with other new quirks), my advice is to stick with ATIH2010.
