Hi,

I have a problem about Pogoplug Drive for Mac 2.5.5 software on MacBook Air 11 inch (OSX 10.6.6 32-bit).

I used Pogoplug normally until the last evening.

But, my hard drive connected to Pogoplug is disappearing from my desktop today.

On my desktop, only one folder named "Files shared with me" are existing.

Strangely, my drive is available via Safari or iPhone.

What happen?

What should I do?

Please give me a good advice.

Thank you.

Same thing is happening to me this morning on a windows vista pc. Only see 'Files shared with me' using the app, but via the website I can access everything.

Between this and the dropouts every few days (where everything disappears completely until I reboot the pogo), it seems this pogoplug has turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Thank you for your response, whollycheeses.
I recognize this issue happens not only to me.

I tried to re-connect my drive after deleting .cedata directory as another member's recommendation.
But, I have failed to find my hard drive on desktop.
Maybe, this issue cause from bugs in pogoplug's main server.
I am making a complaint to the support center.

I have the same problem too. It happened to me last night. I installed the PogoPlug Drive on a new laptop I bought. I could only see the "Files shared with me" folder. Then I see the same thing on my desktop. The PogoPlug Drive had been working fine on my desktop until this problem happened last night. Both of my laptop and desktop are Windows 7.

Woke up this morning and the same thing happened to me...all my folders except "Files Shared with me" are M.I.A. I tried from 2 different computers and the results were the same:

Windows 7 Home Premium- 64 bit
Ubuntu 10.10

Both were working fine yesterday afternoon while I was working. My network hasn't changed and neither have any of my login credentials or settings. I too can see everything from the Web UI.

Developers? A little help please...

Just checked mine again and everything is back to normal in Ubuntu (haven't checked Windows yet). Anybody else's working again?

HI everyone,

Engineering resolved an intermittent issue and will look into this further throughout the coming day.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Please select 'Reload' from your Drive Software preference pane and your drives should reappear.

Pogo's "drive" interface is not working on my new MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6.6. It does work my previous iMac with OSX 10.5.8. I have ejected drives, repaired drives, power-cycled Pogoplug, and re-installed drives to Pogoplug. I have used the "reload" command several times. Any advice? Thanks.

I found a solution at code.google site. It is a problem with McFUSE and 64-bit kernel.

You can download a hopefully fixed 64-bit MacFuse at

http://static.caurea.org/MacFUSE/MacFUSE-2.1.7.dmg

@Ruecube

If you haven't written Support already, please contact us at support@pogoplug.com

We actually have a better solution for you than downloading the MacFUSE beta 2.1.7
