Every so often it'll spend a good hour or so hammering away the two 1TB LaCie BigDisk HDDs attached trying so something (I gues supdating / indexing), despite no network devices accessing data (impossible, all network devices are switched off).

I have thumbnailing enabled but not media preview. I think I'll have all this stuff disabled from now on.

Now seems impossible to move large files to the PP via the mounted drive in Windows. RAM slowly fills up until the PP system tray app crashes. How long until we get access that can be mounted over a LAN using the regular Windows style CFIS shares or SMB or something...?
