The same user name and password should definitely be working. I would run some simple troubleshooting checks on your Mac (such as a permissions check, etc) and if that doesn't resolve the issue (it probably won't) then I'd contact Pogoplug support and they'll be happy to help you out.
I am using Mac OS X Version 10.6.6 and using Pogoplug 2.5.5 application. I can access my pogoplug through pogoplug website but when i use the same email and password in my pogoplug application it is saying Email/Password incorrect. How can i resolve this? Appreciate help in advance
