Just for scientific purposes, I'd try doing a "test run" on a completely different set of folders with completely different files in them. It's possible the Pogoplug could be getting hung up on a file with a strange file name, corruption, etc. Remotely possible, but it's something to try!
In other words, if it works on another set of folders, it's probably due to the files within them or their permissions rather than the Pogoplug software that's causing the issue.

I have two 1Tb external hard drives hooked up to my pogoplug (the pink one). I have Drive A set up with Active Copy to back itself up to Drive B. My Pogoplug is using firmware 2.5.7. My desktop is a recent Dell running Windows 7-64. I have the medi settings on both drives 100% disabled.
When I went to bed last night, the Active Copy was pending, and fourteen hours later, the Active Copy is still pending. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS SAME PROBLEM WITH ACTIVE COPY HAS OCCURRED.
I have tried removing the Active Copy on this set of folders and re-establishing it, but that does not solve the problem.
The whole reason I purchased the Pogoplug was so that I could have automatic, redundant backup. If this redundant backup capability doesn’t work, then there’s no reason for me to have the pogoplug.
I've emailed pogoplug support, but this is the third time Ive reached out to them. Seems like something is amiss. Is there a solution to this problem? My patience is wearing thin.
