Greetings alldaysports.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer to your problem. As you, one of my PogoPlug drives is a Seagate Flex 2TB, and I have an iPhone 4 (4.2.1) with the PogoPlug ap (3.0.2). This combination seems to work OK most of the time with the exception of a few bugs. Occasionally I do see a blank file list from the PogoPlug, which might be what you are experiencing. When that happens, try signing off and signing back on. Not sure why, but this seems to reset the connection and security between the devices.

As for your video & audio drag when played on the iPhone: Does this happen when both devices are served by the same router, when on difference networks, or both? What is your WAN (internet access) service speed/bandwidth? Have you used the transcode option in the media settings prior to attempting to file the file?

Regarding bandwidth, you might experience some issues if the PogoPlug is served by a low-bandwidth connection. Typcially you might experience short pauses in a low-bandwitch situation, as the connection service trys to "keep up" with the stream. You should not experience this issue when both devices are served by the same router. A typical router should be capable of servicing several locally connected devices without a noticable loss in speed.

If you have not transcoded the file, I suggest you give that go. You'll find the transcode option in the website interface in settings/media, and you can select which files to transcode if you don't wish to transcode all at once. The transcode process could take a long time, but is done in the background. You'll find more instructions regarding transcoding of files in this forum.

Good Luck. Bronson
