I'd be happy enough with native optware/ipkg support :)

Folks,
I've been reading here and there that Pogoplugs are supposedly open source and that the CTO even says we should be able to install whatever firmware we desire.

To this end then I would think that Pogo should have a site like Netgear has for their open source routers.
This way those of us choosing to do so could easily install the firmware of our choice, with some semi official support from Pogo. It would also allow for an easy way to get back to the as originally shipped firmware.
By doing this they would also still be able to allow for the continued use of the My.Pogoplug.com service.
Pogo could even offer an Open Source version of the Pogoplug and a proprietary version if they choose - again like Netgear.
Because some of us want our cake and to be able to eat it too!
Just my three cents.
