Haven't tried it, but it should work in theory, if the enclosure's JBOD mode presents it as just one big drive when you plug it in via USB. No guarantees, but if I were you I'd give it a shot--if that ability is crucial to you, however, you might want to hit up Pogogplug tech support to get extra reassurance though.

Hi.
Would anyone happen to know if Pogoplug Multimedia (the pink and white one)
Will support an external harddrive enclosure with dual bays?
I have 2 WD 250 GB HDD's and I want to buy a dual bay usb enclosure and use it with pogoplug. I would set the enclosure to JBOD mode (Just a Bunch of Disks)
Any thoughts anyone?
Ok , cool. BUT....I thought JBOD would show seperate volumes where BIG would show ONE....
Well thank you very much for the reply and info sir.
I'll check tech support.
chao.
Yes--check support--however, if the enclosure is showing them as separate "partitions" of the same "drive," then it should work. The caveat is that each drive will be shown as a separate mount.
Yes sir , that is what I am hoping for.....that they WILL show up as SEPARATE mounts/drives.
Thank you.
I am using a startech.com infosafe with 2 wd 2tb hard drives and pogoplug sees both drives individualy.
awesome. I ordered a Kingwin DK-32U-S dual bay enclosure. I also ordered 2 WD caviar blues (500GB each).
Glad to know this will work.
Thanks a whole bunch for your info pal.
