Hello. Everything has been working fine with my pogoplug for about a month.  Now for the last few days I have very little or no ability to access the attached drive.  It still shows up in windows and I can sometimes get into it....after several minutes...but usually can't navigate around in it.  My memeo backup keeps giving me a failed message about backing up.  The drive shows in my.pogoplug on the internet but just like in windows it sometimes says the drive isn't available and sometimes lets me in but only once or twice before it locks out again.  I can't get into any files.  Using windows 7, 64 bit with a seagate FX desk hard drive attached to the pogoplug.

Your problem might be with your hard drive. You may have to plug it into your computer and check for errors and so forth. Before you attempt that, try plugging in another drive and see if that one works. Also try plugging in your drive to your computer and see if it reads on there.

I think you may be right. While I was waiting for someone to reply I found a post that said to plug it into the computer. The computer found errors and I let it run overnight. When I work up the message was gone so I assume it finished scanning and fixing errors and closed. So I hooked it back up to the pogoplug and now when I log in it says it is indexing files...

I think the problem is we had cold weather last week and the entire town experienced rolling blackouts. I think that caused the problems with the drive constantly starting and loosing power. Seems to be working now. I'll give it a few days to index and see.

Thanks for taking the time to reply!!
