I am using the PP pro and it seems to work well with the USB powered Seagate 160 giger that I use with it.  when I plug my 1TB externally powered Toshiba drive in it seems to work OK for 6 hours or so and then both drives disappear.  I have reformatted the Toshiba with NTFS several times but it keeps doing this.  I can remove the Toshiba and the Seagate will come back on line.

Unfortunately I don't have the models available at the moment

Has anybody seen anything like this in the past?  If this Toshiba drive is just a problem I will get another brand but if its something ells I would like to try and make it work.

I have not tried any other format.

This is strange indeed--do you know if the Toshiba drive has had problems in its pre-Pogoplug life? Or did it always work fine?

The fact that the Seagate drive works fine with the Pogoplug seems to suggest the Pogoplug is working fine, also...

I think this is one to report to the support team--just make sure you give them the specific Toshiba drive model you have so they can log the problem.

I want to let everybody know that for this particular issue I worked with PP support and had a resolution that worked well. they applied the latest firmware update to the pro and its been working for weeks now with no issues at all.

I really thought this was going to be an issue with the Toshiba drive but the firmware update did the trick.

Thanks for the support.
