If the pogoplug loses power I have to go back into mypogoplug settings and turn media sharing options back on.  Why can't that setting info be stored and reloaded after a power outage?

@leisco,

I'm not sure what you mean by "media sharing options". The transcode, thumbnail generation, and metadata generation options in Settings -> Media Settings should be retained after a Pogoplug is rebooted. Any folders and files that you shared should remain shared as well. Are either of these what you are talking about? If not, can you be more specific?

I have 2 drives. One is set to media serve to my PS3. After a power failure I have to login and change the setting back to enable that because it gets turned off.

This extremely frustrating. The default position should be enabled in my opinion. Any comment from the pogoplug team as this keeps coming up.

Lammy and lecisco, we have reproduced this and have notified Engineering. A fix is being investigated.

The same happens when you unplug your drive.

For some reason the media settings get lost.

Red Zebra, ya, it makes sense that either a power failure or unplugging would have the same effect.

Nicky, has there been any progress on fixing this? It's been almost 8 months.
