It's actually worse than that, it's not the power off that causes the problem the app only remembers the login if it is left suspended in the background. Under iOS 4.X when you "quit" the Pogoplug app it will still be suspended in the background and the only way you can completely restart the app is to either power cycle the iPad or go into the task manager and terminate the app. Thus, it's not the power cycle that causes the problem, the problem is that the app NEVER remembers the login so each time it is restarted you have to re-enter your username and password.

The pogoplug ipad app loses your login info and requires you to reenter it after ipad power off. This is extremely annoying ESPECIALLY if you use very strong passwords. It is a very poor user experience.
Steps to confirm this bug.
1) Load the pogoplug ipad app
2) Login and confirm you can access your pogo drive
3) exit app and then restart app to confirm password is remembered etc
4) press and hold the sleep/wake button until "slide to off" comes up
5) Turn off iPad
6) press and hold the sleep/wake to turn iPad on
7) load the pogoplug app
8) ERROR - enter login info
Would appreciate someone confirming this bug and a fix from pogoplug.
Thanks
