The whole thing turned out to be a permissions problem,
Christopher, at pogoplug, was great helping me out, with advanced tech support.
In the end I did a complete OS reinstall, as it had been a long time, and I wanted a real fix to the permissions issues which stemmed from transferring admin privileges from one account to another.
Anyways, reinstall complete = perfect Pogoplug. Very happy.
Hi everyone!
My Pogoplug Pro is set up and activated. The web interface and iPhone app work fine. I cannot get the desktop app to function.
I am running a 2.4ghz Macbook, OSX 10.6.5, 32-bit Kernel.
I have tried MacFuse 2.0.3, 2.1.5 (32-bit beta), and 2.1.7 (64-bit beta), and get the same error every time: "Failed Starting Drive - Exit Code 0"
I have tried fat32 and HFS+(journalled) drives. Both load in the web interface immediately, and work fine through the iPhone app, but the desktop app won't load.
Can you suggest anything? I've rebooted after every installation. I've used your console app to cleanly erase the pogoplug app every time, and I'm still not getting anywhere. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

More info:
Everything works fine on my girlfriend's 2.0ghz white Macbook, also running 10.6.5, with MacFuse 2.0.3. Worked on first try (although I did reinstall MacFuse immediately, and reboot). So the drive works fine as well.
I tried the entire process again on my Aluminum macbook, doing every step the same as on my GF's, and still no luck. HELP!
