When I open up the Pogoplug Drive software and I go to create a new active copy or click change location on an existing one the pogoplug drive window turns gray and the only thing I can do is close the program and re-open it.  I have tried re-installing the software and removing the registry entries pertaining to the settings but nothing seems to work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I would contact Pogoplug tech support on this one - it sounds like you have tried all the basic troubleshooting steps (re-install, perform registry check, etc.) You can also try a reboot of your system and the Pogoplug, that often helps.

Just wanted to throw in that I have the same issue. I was able to edit the sync location by changing the \\HKCU\Software\Pogoplug\ppfs\userdir registry key manually for now. Windows 7, 64bit, pogoplug v 2.5.5 on a pogoplug pro

Here is what the support guys said when I asked the same question:

Thank you for contacting Pogoplug Support. What version of Internet Explorer do you have installed? The Pogoplug Drive Application uses an embedded form of IE and is incompatible with IE9 Beta. If you have IE9 Beta installed, please revert to a stable version of IE8 to resolve the problem.

I haven't tried this yet, but I am running the IE9 Beta so this is likely the fix for me.

Yes, you're right I'm running the IE9 Beta too. I will try.
