When sharing an entire folder with 'View Only' settings, it doesn't seem to be marking the folder contents with the 'View Only' setting. Users can see and still download all the files within this folder share.

It isn't until you share the individual file themselves, does it seem like the 'View Only' works as it should. And on that note, sharing this way creates a big mess of files instead of neatly placed in their properly named folders.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Hmm...it's working for me. I just created a share and set it "Web View Only" and none of the folders, subfolders or files can be downloaded. Here's what I did:

1. Navigate to the folder that you want to share and hit "Share This".
2. Enter the email address of the person/people you want to share with and click "Invite".
3. On the right side of the page, select "Web View Only" in the drop-down list.

That should be it. Is that what you're doing?

Yeah. Tried exactly like you stated above. In that folder is one pdf. When I go to that PDF logged in as the user it is shared too, I can view and I still get the download document button to which I can download the pdf. If I share the pdf individually, I do not get the download document button.

Um, could someone from PP support please help me out here? Have you guys given up on the Biz customers or something?

My original post from above is still happening.

A little help would be great.
