Dear Pogoplug users from around the world…

Since long I am thinking about buying a Pogoplug. At this moment I am a bit in doubt if the Pogoplug is the solution for me. Therefore I want to receive your advice about the following.

I have a huge collection of PDF files (Scanned car magazine articles OCR created via Adobe Acrobat) that I want others to see and search through.  I prefer that others can only look at the files but not download them (Pogoplug biz).  I expect some problems because most of the PDF files are opend via Acrobat reader in a new window. It would also be great if it is possible to search through the files on the same way Google desktop is doing it (Search through file names, file tags and content of the files (OCR Acrobat files).

So the questions…

1)      Is it possible to place PDF files as read only… no saving mode via Pogoplug (Biz)

2)      Is it possible to search through all files via Pogoplug (Also OCS contend of PDF files)

Hope some of you can bring some light in the darkness and give me some good advice
