I'm new to PogoPlug. I've got it set up and it seems to work pretty well. I'm wondering where various settings are stored. For example, if I go into the web UI and create slideshows, where is that information stored? Does the PogoPlug itself have onboard storage? If so, how much and can I access it directly? I have the PogoPlug Pro version. Thanks!

@cdavis,

Slideshows are stored with your account through our service, as is information associated with files and folders you share (although the files and folders themselves remain only on your drive). There is no onboard storage on the Pogoplug itself.

Thanks again Nick. So if I create a slideshow, is there a second copy of each photo somewhere on Pogo servers? Or do slideshows use some sort of links to the photos rather than copying the photos themselves? If there is a copy, are there limitations to the size of my slideshows or how many slideshows I can have? - Chris

@cdavis,

The files themselves are not stored anywhere on our servers; only information about the slideshow is stored -- that there is a slideshow; what the slideshow's name is; the file IDs for the files on your drive that are used in the slideshow. There is no limit to the amount of slideshows you can have.
