So, I'm one of the folks that jumped in on the first release of pogoplug. I used it for a short time, but for various reasons disconnected it for a while.

Now, 1+ year later I'm back and I have a couple of drives with partitions hooked up to pogoplug. Here are some problems I have:

1) Looking through the web interface, I found that the firmware is ver. 0.9.9.96

I've been online for 2 days, still no auto update. I then followed instructions for a clean powercycle  (turn off pogoplug with hdd still connected, then connect to pc, run error-check from tools, then reconnect & powerup pogoplug) and it's been on for several hours now, still no update.

2) On a separate attempt of ejecting a drive (with pogoplug on), and then reconnecting them to pogoplug, windows 7 64 did not remove them from the "My computer" folder, and so when it reconnected, it doubled the number of drives listed. Let's just say that with about 6 partitions to work with, it looked like chaos once the drive names were duplicated.

3) Is there some way to go through web interface to block certain drives from showing up on the desktop interface?

btw, my desktop interface is ver. 2.5.5

I did figure out #2 - just right-click on desktop icon and reload. Oddly enough though, drive letters had changed after reload.

uh oh, i guess it updated to 0.9.9.99, and I got the dreaded red-light of "not connected", i put in a support ticket after my basic attempts of recovery have failed.
