Can I connect a pogoplug to my Laptop? and how?

No, it connects to a router, not a computer. You can, temporarily, attach the hard drive to your computer for the purpose of copying files to it (which is great when copying a large number of files and\or folders), then reattach the drive to the PP.

Since the pogoplug is a computer, there's really not need to connect it to another computer.

The reason I ask about connecting the POGO PLUG to MY LAPTOP is bec I don't have a wireless router. I have a wifi card in the laptop and a clearwire on the go portable internet connection.???

Well, I guess that you could use something like Connectify or NAS32, but it would still be pointless because you'd be tied to the computer, which you would have to keep running all of the time. This would also mean the you'd loose the portability of the laptop.

You don't have to connect it to a wireless router, you can connect it directly to a hardwired router port.

If you don't have access to a router, then the PP is probably not a good solution for you. If that's the case, I'd suggest that you look at the Opera browser and it's free file sharing feature called "Unite".
