I use the PogoPlug to provide my students (Higher Ed) access to my files. Is there a way to embed the email address and password into the link. This help my students gain access without them remembering the username and password.

I am using a generic email address through Yahoo and Google. I then paste the lick to my assignment page. All I desire is to have the student click on the link and then have access to the files.

Thanks    Allan

For sharing files all you have to do is click the "share" button on the bottom of the browser. Then input your students email address and they will receive an email with the link to the folder. They will not need a user name or password to access your files. It even stays updated, so if you add new files they will be able to access them as well on the fly without much downtime.

There may also be a URL somewhat like.
https://my.pogoplug.com/?email=myemail@email.net&password=mypassword

That kinda works because it will put in your email address but not the password so maybe they have a way.
