I have my computer hardwired to my router which is connected to my pogoplug. When renaming a lot of files network speed is very low, also copying a lot of small files is slow.

Can I change some settings on my networkcard to speed this up?

Normal download speed (big files) from pogoplug is about 12000 kb/s. Up 10000 kb/s. With a lot of small files speed is dropping to almost 600 kb/s.

I'm guessing some settings can change this, but I dont know which.
