I am not sure if it would help, but did you try Multi-Drive mode? That way a drive is not shown as a folder under the 'P' drive but as a drive letter of its own.
I have used Acronis True Image Home 2009 and 2010 successfully to back-up to the USB drives connected to my Pogoplug. However, the latest True Image Home 2011 has different characteristics and can't locate the P drive, meaning that backups aren't possible. Acronis are aware of the issue but seem to be in no hurry to fix it, and I was wondering whether anyone else has come across this problem.
Thanks for the suggestion, Brandon. But no luck, I'm afraid.
I'm liaising with Acronis support, who given the functionality of the product that they sell are very concerned to achieve a fix, but frankly I'm drained so will revert to the easy fix of reinstating a spare NAS as the backup location. Does anyone else have the internal fortitude to progress the establishment of Pogoplug as a back-up recipient? Makes sense to me, but I don't have the time.
