I tried my first file "move" function with the web browser (Windows XP-Pro and IE8). Set the "from" and "to" folders in the split screen ... selected the file (MS Word document) ... and ... nothing happens. Could not see a "GO" button, or "OK" button, or "MOVE" button ... very un-intuitive as to what the user is supposed to do to effect the transfer.

Finally, I simply clicked and dragged the file from the top window to bottom of screen, and that worked. However, then had trouble exiting the Move functions split-screen.

Of course, this is a simple task on my local area network where I can see the drive and folders ... drag and drop.

How is the "move" or "copy" function in the web interface intended to work? Thanks for any response.

@DennyG73, the way the move copy function works is:

- You open the move/copy pane (More Actions -> Copy/Move Pogoplug Files)
- In either the top or the bottom pane, navigate to the folder containing the files you want to copy/move
- In the other pane, navigate to the folder to which you want to move/copy files
- Select either move or copy from the dropdown menu in either pane
- Drag the desired files from the source to the destination
- When done, click the x on the upper right-hand corner of the lower pane to close it

Note: If you drag the source files either to a file or a blank space inside of the destination folder, the files will be moved/copied to that level of the folder. If you drag the source files on top of a sub-folder inside the destination folder, the files will be moved/copied into that sub-folder.

Also, to copy multiple files at once, check the checkboxes next to those files before dragging and dropping.

Thanks! I figured out that it worked that way, but "drag-n-drop" is not implied anywhere. Thanks too, for calling my attention to the "x" to close the windows.
