Hi all,

My Pogoplug and drives freeze when i make a new folder via the pogoplugdrive (latest version). This only happens in a folder which has active copy on it (online web application). The setup:

Drive 1: connected to pogoplug, folder A
Drive 2: connected to pogoplug, Backup of folder A

In the my.pogoplug web application i have an active copy from folder A (drive 1) to Backup of folder A (drive 2). This works as it should.

But when i make a new folder within folder A, and active copy enabled, my whole system of the pogoplug crashes (The folder is made through pogoplugdrive/desktop not the webapp). I can't read anymore from drive 1.
I have to unplug the power and drives from the Pogoplug en restart everything.

Do you clever people from Pogoplug have a solution for this problem. I tried the above from OS Windows 7 64bit and Windows Vista 32bit.

Thanks,

vbec

I just confirmed the same issue using XP. Did you email support on the problem?

I have the pink/white pogoplug, you as well? It seems to be a bug then since it's on all of the windows platforms.

I've sended an e-mail to the support desk. When i make a new folder through the webapp it seems all to work fine though. But it's a bit annoying when copying a lot of folders though, to make all the folders manualy through the webapp. I'll keep you posted when i have an answer or maybe the Pogoplug team will answer here as well.

Edit: It doesn't work through the webapp. I guess i got lucky one time. All other tries resulted in a freeze, just like through the pogoplug drive.

I didn't try it through the web app. Glad you tested and reported it to them.
Mine is not a dockstar a regular Pogoplug running 2.5.6
