My Pogoplug drive appears to go into hibernation, so is no longer available.

How do I get the drive out of hibernation or remotely reboot my Pogoplug?

This might be something with the hard drive you have attached. For example, I have a Maxtor OneTouch attached to my Pogoplug, which "sleeps" after a certain period of time. There is a short delay when trying to access it initially, but then it spins up and is fine.

Try another drive, or even a flash drive, and see if you have similiar issues. If so, contact Pogoplug support and have them check it out.

Thanks for that but the drive can't be used no matter how long I wait, also Pogoplug says the drive is not available but ir will let me eject it.

The only way to make the drive available is to switch off the Pogoplug, disconnect the drive, power up Pogoplug & wait for green light then connect external drive. This means that I can't re-enasble drive remotely.

The only way that I can make drive available for any length of time is to remove all the thumbnails etc., so Pogoplug is busy recreating them so drive does not hibernate.
