Today I noticed that my Dockstar's LED is orange which means it's not connected to the Pogoplug service.  I unplugged it and plugged it back in and when it finished booted up the LED returned to orange.

I checked my router and the Pogoplug is trying to connect to two different ip addresses:  38.122.2.42 on port 4365 and 75.101.131.51 on port 80.  I pinged 38.122.2.42 which came back fine, but pinging 75.101.131.51 resulted in 100% lost packets.

I tried going to http://75.101.131.51 in my browser and after about a minute a get a security error and when I ignore it the My Pogoplug page pops up.

When I went to https://my.pogoplug.com/ it took forever to load, but the Dockstar did appear (not sure how since the light was still orange).  When I went to settings, it took a long time, but eventually the DockStar appeared.  The settings pages are taking a few minutes to load each time I select something.

I can access without any issues using the WFS service so it's only an issue with the web site.

It's obvious that something isn't working right with the Pogoplug service, either it's very very slow or down.

Anyone else having issues?

I've having the same issue. My pogoplug shows up as being offline no matter what I do. When I go to my.pogoplug.com it takes forever to load then just says that I don't have a drive attached. Is anyone else having service issues?

I can't offer any solution, but I am also experiencing the same issue. I have no (online) access to the hard drive attached to the pogoplug.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue this morning. It was working fine last night.

I think I know what the problem is, but not the solution. I checked my Dockstar's manual and it says that it must be able to contact "service.pogoplug.com port 4365" to use the Pogoplug serivce. Well wouldn't you know that service.pogoplug.com resolves to 75.101.131.51 which is the ip address that isn't responding to pings.

75.101.131.51 is part of Amazon Web Services, so my guess is that Pogoplug contracts out to Amazon Web Services and they are having issues with their servers.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

It just came back online for me. Seems to be working.

The light just went green on my Dockstar so it looks like the problem has resolved itself.

Yeah, mine just came back up too!

I just experienced the downtime with mypogoplug.com, but everything seems to be working and better for some reason

Unable to log in, either through the browser or the mac software - only purchased it yesterday, what a let down.

Yup, they are down. Stupid design to require website to connect locally.

Maybe it's just specific areas. It's working for me and I can see my little Pogoplug hosted webstite.

Yes, Appears PogoPlug is down. This Morning my LED was Orange, after a reboot it went Green, but I cannot see any of my drives (all show Off Line) I have 2 PogoPlugs and both are in the same state. Has to be issues with their site.

Seeing the same issue here. But I am off site and will not have access to the PogoPlug until Saturday night.
