You should check out this thread, it covers the same issue. In it, the comment was made that, like you, this program used to work, then stopped working. I commented:

Well, the code in the app didn't change, it's static. Something else (new software, windows update, etc.) changed. That's what you need to go after. The best idea would be to run a system restore and roll back to a time when the app worked correctly, then keep an eye on what changes that negatively impacts the app.
