I am having this exact same problem. Just picked up the pogoplug today and trying to set it up. Am I missing something here too? How come no one has replied to this thread?

I am a new user (1st day) and I can not see my local computer files & folders when selectiing 'setup active copy on a new folder'. The 'from' section only shows my pogoplug pro drive - even if I click on the up/down arrow on the right side of the selection box.
Have I missed something in setup? Is this a sharing problem?
I am having the same problem on both my computers - Win7 desktop and Mac OS X MacBook Air. Both show the external pogoplug drive but not the local drive. No problems copying/moving files with the pogoplug drive software that I downloaded.

OK, I figured it out...
I can not access it on the web app but it works perfectly fine on the pogoplug drive (Version 2.5.5) app so all is well...
